Installation of photovoltaic panels in Vitrolles

As part of our commitment to the energy transition, we have reached a new milestone: the photovoltaic panels installed at our industrial site in Marseille are now operational.

Launched in early 2024, this initiative aims to deploy Renewable energy production solutions across all our sites. At the Marseille site, solar panels directly power our cold rooms, significantly reducing the share of electricity drawn from the grid.

This project marks a concrete step forward in our commitment to continuously improving the carbon footprint of our activities. Other sites will follow in the coming years, with the same ambition: Balancing industrial performance and environmental responsibility.

According to our estimates, the Vitrolles site will benefit from, energy self-sufficiency rate capable of reaching 50 % thanks to the installation of photovoltaic panels.
