engineer Louis Gaches, who, thanks to the Marshall Plan, began to produce thinner and GaroFer (a bodywork putty). He went on to hand over the Company to his son, Pierre Gaches, who has been managing the Company since 1992, and the Group is now entering its 3rd generation phase. In particular, Pierre Gaches brought proceedings against the dominant position of Brenntag (summoned to pay 30 M\u20ac for obstruction of justice) and prevented concertation practices between Univar and Quaron, the N\u00b0 2 and N\u00b03 players in the commodity chemicals market at the time.
